Terms of Service
Rules for using Kaltiq responsibly, with clear explanations of identifiers, KalCoins, moderation and account action.
Version 2.0 · Prepared 16 October 2026 · Effective when published
1. Agreement and documents
These Terms are a contract between you and the Kaltiq legal entity identified in your account, invoice or app-store listing (“Kaltiq”). By creating an account, accepting these Terms or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and the incorporated Privacy Policy, Acceptable Use & Fair Usage Policy, Cookie Policy, Copyright & DMCA Policy and any product-specific terms shown at purchase. Mandatory local consumer rights always prevail.
2. Eligibility and authority
You must meet the minimum digital-consent age in your country and be at least 18 to buy KalCoins, administer a Business Profile, authorise recordings or enter a paid contract unless a lawful parent/guardian process is offered. The Services are not directed to children under 13. If using Kaltiq for an organisation, you confirm authority to bind it.
3. Accounts and security
Provide accurate information, safeguard credentials, keep recovery details current and promptly report compromise. You are responsible for authorised activity on your account. You may not sell, rent, share or automate accounts; impersonate another person or organisation; evade sanctions; or create accounts after a ban without written permission. Kaltiq may require identity, age, business or payment verification proportionate to risk and law.
4. Chats, channels, calls and location
- Messages and files may be stored to deliver history, multi-device access, groups and channels. Private-message payloads between enrolled devices are end-to-end encrypted by default; the interface identifies encrypted messages. Escrowed E2EE allows restricted, audited administrative key recovery and is not a zero-knowledge mode.
- Calls use peer-to-peer paths where possible, Kaltiq's self-hosted SFU for conferences, and TURN relay where necessary. Connectivity, emergency access and uninterrupted quality are not guaranteed. Kaltiq is not a telephone carrier or emergency-calling service; do not use it to contact emergency services.
- You may share precise or live location only with informed permission from the device user and for lawful purposes. Never use Kaltiq to stalk, track or endanger anyone.
- You may record a call only when the feature is enabled, the interface indicates recording, and you have all participant consents required by every applicable jurisdiction. You—not Kaltiq—are responsible for lawful recording, storage and export.
5. Your content and licence
You retain ownership of content you lawfully own. You grant Kaltiq and its processors a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, cache, reproduce, transmit, adapt for technical formatting, display and otherwise process that content only to operate, secure, moderate, improve and lawfully administer the Services. The licence ends when the content is deleted from active systems, subject to recipients’ copies, backups, legal holds and lawful records.
You represent that you have all rights, permissions and consents needed for your content and that it does not violate law or another person’s rights. Public-channel content may be viewed, quoted, reported or reshared by others; do not publish information you cannot safely make public.
6. Business Profiles
Business Profiles must provide truthful identity, authority and commercial information; distinguish advertising; honour consumer, refund and product-safety laws; protect customer data; and avoid misleading verification claims. A badge indicates that specified checks were completed, not endorsement, solvency, product quality or legal compliance. Kaltiq is not a party to user-business transactions unless a checkout expressly says otherwise. Business administrators are responsible for their staff, catalogues, customer communications and independent data use.
7. Standard, vanity, premium and business numbers
A Kaltiq number, username or handle is a revocable, limited licence to use an identifier inside Kaltiq. It is not property, legal identity, a public telephone number or a guarantee of permanent availability. Standard, vanity and premium describe allocation class, scarcity or price, not status or endorsement. The 9-series is reserved for eligible Business Profiles.
Identifiers may not infringe trademarks, impersonate others, mislead consumers or be hoarded, brokered or transferred outside supported features. Kaltiq may quarantine, rename, reclaim, reassign or disable identifiers for error, inactivity, fraud, infringement, legal process, platform migration or policy violation. Paid identifier remedies are limited by mandatory law and the purchase terms shown at checkout.
8. KalCoins and payments
KalCoins are closed-loop, revocable digital service credits used only for eligible Kaltiq features. They are not fiat money, cryptocurrency, stablecoin, stored value, security, investment, bank deposit or claim against reserves; they do not earn interest and have no cash-redemption value. Unless a checkout states otherwise, the platform rate is 100 KalCoins per 1 USDT for supported purchases, but feature prices can change prospectively.
- Purchases may involve app stores, payment providers or public blockchains. Network fees, exchange-rate risk, incorrect-chain transfers, irreversible transactions and third-party wallet security are your responsibility.
- Never send private keys or seed phrases to Kaltiq. Kaltiq credits only verified transactions to a displayed supported address/network and may wait for confirmations or fraud review.
- Balances may be corrected for error, duplicate credit, reversal, fraud, chargeback or legal order. During suspension, balances may be frozen. On lawful termination for fraud or serious abuse, promotional credits may be cancelled and other balances handled as permitted by local law.
- Except where law or checkout terms require otherwise, consumed credits and correctly delivered digital credits are non-refundable. Statutory cancellation, refund and consumer guarantees remain unaffected.
9. Intellectual property and platform licence
Kaltiq grants you a personal, limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use supported clients for the Services. Kaltiq and its licensors retain all rights in software, brands, designs, APIs, documentation and platform content. You may not copy, sell, sublicense, scrape, reverse engineer beyond non-waivable law, bypass access controls or DRM, remove notices, extract models/data, or build a competing service from non-public interfaces.
10. Acceptable use and fair usage
You must follow the Acceptable Use & Fair Usage Policy. It prohibits illegal content, exploitation, harassment, hate, terrorism, scams, spam, unlawful solicitation, malware, infringement, surveillance abuse, dangerous goods, botting, scraping, denial-of-service and circumvention. Kaltiq may apply proportionate message, call, storage, group, API, verification or transaction limits to protect availability and users.
11. Moderation, restrictions and appeals
Kaltiq may use automated signals and human review. Depending on severity, history and risk, actions may include warning, reach reduction, rate limit, content removal, feature restriction, payment hold, identifier quarantine, temporary suspension, device/IP restriction, permanent ban or account deletion. We may preserve evidence and report conduct where legally required.
Where law permits, we will provide a reason and an appeal route. Emergency, security, court-order or investigation-sensitive details may be withheld. We aim to apply restrictions diligently, objectively and proportionately, but may act immediately to protect people or systems. Repeatedly evading action is a separate violation.
12. Third-party services
Maps, app stores, wallets, blockchains, cloud storage, operating-system services and external links are controlled by third parties. Their terms and privacy notices apply. Kaltiq does not control and is not responsible for third-party availability, security, content, fees or decisions, except to the extent liability cannot be excluded.
13. Changes, availability and beta features
Features may change, be geo-restricted, degraded, suspended or discontinued for safety, law, maintenance or commercial reasons. Beta or preview features may be incomplete and may lose data. We will give notice of material adverse changes where required. You may stop using the Services if you do not accept a change.
14. Suspension, termination and deletion
You may stop using Kaltiq and request deletion. Kaltiq may suspend or terminate for breach, risk, non-payment, inactivity, legal order or service closure. When feasible, we will allow export or appeal before permanent deletion, except for urgent safety/security action. Termination ends your licence and may release identifiers. Provisions on accrued payments, ownership, disclaimers, liability, indemnity, dispute resolution and lawful retention survive.
15. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” Kaltiq does not warrant uninterrupted delivery, error-free calls, preservation of every message, identity of users, business offers, investment value, emergency availability or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing excludes statutory warranties or consumer guarantees that cannot legally be excluded.
16. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kaltiq, its affiliates, vendors, licensors, directors, employees and agents are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, punitive or consequential loss, lost profits, reputation, opportunities or data, or user/third-party conduct. Aggregate liability arising from the Services will not exceed the greater of amounts you paid Kaltiq for the affected Service during the preceding 12 months or USD 100.
These limits do not apply to liability that law prohibits limiting, which may include fraud, wilful misconduct, gross negligence, death/personal injury caused by negligence, or mandatory privacy and consumer rights. Different limits may apply in product-specific paid terms.
17. Indemnity
If you use Kaltiq for business or outside a consumer capacity, you will defend and indemnify Kaltiq and its personnel against third-party claims, losses and reasonable costs arising from your content, products, unlawful recording/location use, violation of these Terms or infringement of rights, except to the extent caused by Kaltiq’s breach or conduct. Consumer indemnities apply only where valid under local law.
18. Governing law and disputes
These Terms and disputes arising from them are governed by the laws of India, without applying conflict-of-law rules that would defeat this choice. The competent courts of India have jurisdiction. Users retain non-waivable consumer, privacy and regulator rights available in their country of residence. Nothing here requires arbitration, waives a class right or shortens a limitation period unless a separately displayed, locally valid clause expressly says so.
19. General
If one provision is unenforceable, it will be limited or severed while the rest remains effective. Failure to enforce is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without consent; Kaltiq may assign them with a corporate transaction or to an affiliate, subject to law. These Terms and incorporated policies are the complete agreement for the general Services.
